My friend, Megan, is about to have her first baby. So, of course, I had to make up some cute crafty items with my new sewing machine. They aren't finding out if it is a boy or a girl so I had to make one for each gender. Megan is a former Texas Rollergirl so the girly bib has a hand embroidered skate on it. If it is a boy, they are going to name him Max and her husband keeps saying that he wants a middle name like Speed or Velocity so I thought a bib with a play on that would be appropriate! They haven't revealed the girl name they have picked. Megan says it is an unusual name and they don't want any negative comments about it before the baby comes. She did say that it will start with an "O" so I have some guesses:

The pretty: Olivia

The slightly different: Olive

The fruity: Orange

The Texan: Odessa

The Biblical: Obadiah

The Shakespearean: Othello

The famous: Oprah


and, of course


The obvious: Obama


Alas, we will have to wait until next month to find out if any of my guesses are accurate. In the meantime, these are my fun presents to her.

Lucy does not enjoy her panties when they are anywhere that they are not supposed to be. This is all fine and good except that she doesn't exactly have the words. So when the panties are a bit out of place she screams at the top of her lungs " I gotta get my crack out!"
